Proper use of PPE
Facemask
At Arrow Facilities Management. We train all our staff on the proper use, fit, care, maintenance, and limitation of PPE. We also provide them with clean disposable masks. From the time we enter your premise, all our employees are under strict instructions to ensure that they wear a mask at all times.
With the right selection and fitting of a facemask, it is comfortable and practical for a cleaner to work for long hours without feeling distressed.
Hand Gloves
Before We enter any premise, we ensure that we disinfect all our employees with an alcohol-based sanitizer,
We train our staff on the proper use of hand gloves- Our gloves are color-coded to prevent cross-contamination Ie. Gloves used to clean the kitchen appliances, shelves and countertops are not the same used to clean the rest of the house.
After completion of work all gloves are properly disinfected and stored for use during the next project
Disinfection of Cleaning supplies after every job.
To eliminate the risk of cross-contamination, We ensure that after every job, All our cleaning supplies, Machinery, and equipment are properly disinfected. To achieve this, we use a broad spectrum disinfectant that is EPA approved to effectively eliminate all germs, bacteria, and viruses including the Corona Virus.
Proper training on safe cleaning practices and the use of Disinfectant
All our employees are trained on how to conduct themselves while performing their cleaning tasks, they are also trained on how to use EAP approved disinfectant such as how to dilute, How to apply, what is the dwell time for the disinfectant to be effective, First aid in case of a reaction or accidental ingestion and on the proper use of PPE while handling these disinfectants.
Social Distancing
Being that the virus is easily spread from person to person to eliminate this risk, we encourage our customers to isolate/ keep distance while cleaning is ongoing. If they are not able to keep distance, then they are required to wear a face mask.
If we have deployed more than one staff to your project then, they are under strict instruction to observe the social distancing guideline of at least 6 feet. During the cleaning process, we encourage the opening of windows/ ventilation to allow air to freely circulate during the cleaning process.
Health checks and screening
To protect our employees from contracting Covid 19- During our training, we take them through the signs and symptoms of Covid 19 and, we advise that should they portray such symptoms or suspect that they have come into contact with a person presenting this signs and symptoms then, we encourage them to file for a sick off.
We also closely monitor all our employees by conducting screening such as body temperature checks before deployment. They also learn on some of the basic ways they can protect themselves such as maintaining proper hand hygiene, Not touching the face, social distancing, and proper use of PPE.
We disinfect after each Cleaning
With each job, We disinfect all surfaces. We have invested in the latest technology and training ensuring that the disinfectant is dispensed in micro-droplets (fog) ensuring that the disinfection is far-reaching, safe on electronics, and will protect our customers and employees extensively.
