  Arrow  Cleaning Services Ltd is a fully integrated Facilities Management/cleaning company in Nairobi, Kenya that provides comprehensive, high quality, and reliable Facilities Management services to commercial, corporate, industrial, and residential clients. We are looking for dynamic, eager-to-learn, and hardworking individuals to join our team. This position is located in Nairobi, Industrial area, Under the supervision of the Operations Manager. The Gardener will be responsible for the following duties:

Responsibilities

  • Watering flowers and lawns and maintaining them.
  • Trimming of grass is to be done using lawnmowers and other motorized equipment where possible
  • Pruning of overgrown flowers and shrubs.
  •  Seeding the flower beds, and shrubs and rightfully disposing of the weeds
  •  Application of red soil and manure
  • Pest and disease control on the flowers and other plants
  • Sweeping of all roads and paved surfaces
  • Cleaning all shallow drains surfaces
  • Collection and disposal of garden waste
  • Ensure all equipment, and machinery are stored securely and clean after use.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned to them by the management from time to time.

Competencies

  • Proactive- ability to do what is expected and go over and beyond
  • At least 1 year’s proven experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to handle a range of gardening machinery and powered hand tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of plants and gardening techniques.
  • Friendly personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Enthusiastic.A fast learner
