About Arrow Facilities Management
Arrow Facilities Management Ltd is a Nairobi-based cleaning and facilities management company serving homes, offices and commercial facilities. We specialise in both Contractual Cleaning as well as one-off facilities cleaning and maintenance services to include: one-off deep cleaning, move-in/move-out, post-construction cleaning and long-term contractual cleaning services. We are strengthening our supervision and quality control team and are looking for a hands-on, detail-obsessed Cleaning Supervisor to lead field operations.
Why Join Arrow Facilities Management
- Fast-growing cleaning and facilities company with a steady pipeline of one-off and contract jobs.
- Stable role with a monthly retainer plus a clear daily allowance structure for supervised assignments.
- Opportunity to grow into more senior supervision or operations responsibilities as the business expands.
- Supportive management, clear checklists and systems so you can focus on leading the team and keeping clients happy.
Role Purpose
To plan, lead and supervise one-off and contractual cleaning teams to deliver timely, high-quality work that keeps clients satisfied and supports the company’s growth.
What You Will Do
Lead 1–20 stewards on one-off and special cleaning jobs (deep cleans, move-in/move-out, post-construction, etc.).
Brief the team clearly, allocate zones and pace the work from start to finish.
Personally check high-risk areas: windows, glass, corners, skirting, bathrooms, kitchens, tiles and fittings.
Handle client communication on site – manage expectations, give updates, address complaints calmly and professionally.
Conduct periodic quality checks at contractual client sites and give structured feedback to management.
Select the right stewards for each job from a pre-vetted pool and profile them for future contractual placements.
Protect client property and company assets (machines, tools, chemicals) and report any incidents honestly and promptly.
Complete simple job reports (team list, hours, photos, issues) after each assignment.
Consolidate monthly cleaning supply requirement for contractual projects and distribute the same.
Who This Role Is For
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience as a Cleaning Supervisor / Team Leader in a professional cleaning company.
Understands which detergents and machines to use on different surfaces and how to care for equipment.
Is hands-on – comfortable scrubbing, mopping and doing physical work alongside the team, not just delegating.
Works with speed and discipline without compromising quality; is strict on time and sets the pace for the team.
Has very high personal standards and strong attention to detail – notices streaks, fine dust, missed corners and fixes them.
Is a strong communicator and emotionally intelligent – can manage even difficult or rude clients calmly and protect the company’s reputation.
Can balance managing the client and managing the team and knows how to say “no” politely when extra requests will compromise the agreed scope or quality.
Uses good judgement on site, makes decisions, and escalates only when necessary.
Is fair and unbiased in team selection, and leads by example as a role model for stewards.
Minimum Requirements
At least 2 years’ experience supervising cleaning teams (one-off and/or contractual) in a cleaning or facilities company.
Proven experience handling one-off / deep cleaning / post-construction jobs and quality checks.
Working knowledge of common cleaning machines and detergents for different surfaces.
Strong communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
Ability to work early mornings, evenings and weekends depending on bookings.
Contract & Remuneration
Initial practical trial period over the first few one-off jobs, focusing on quality, leadership, client handling and reporting.
Upon successful completion of the trial, a renewable fixed-term contract based on performance and business needs.
Competitive monthly retainer plus a daily field allowance for each supervised assignment.
Full package details will be shared with shortlisted candidates.
